Walter Massa is an independent and courageous vintner who, from the 70s to the leadership of the family winery has managed to change and revive the wine face of an entire area, that of Tortona hills. The biggest merit of Walter Massa, a figure almost become legendary and considered by many colleagues as a master, was to rediscover a vine that threatened the extinction, Timorasso, sensing the great potential and obtaining memorable wines.
