Leckford Estate

Leckford Estate, the Waitrose Farm, is situated in the picturesque Test Valley in Hampshire. It was purchased by the founder of the John Lewis Partnership, John Spedan Lewis, in 1929 and it was his family home for many years. Amongst our diverse range of activities, we have two small vineyards on the estate, one planted in 2009 and the other in 2017, both on south-facing chalk land and both growing excellent quality Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes. Our Leckford Brut is a blend of these three grapes, expertly produced by the award-winning wine-makers at Ridgeview Winery.
