Domaine Masson-Blondelet

The Masson-Blondelets, producer of Pouilly Fumé and Sancerre in the Loire, is a FAMILY ESTATE employing 10 people in total. Mélanie & Pierre (sister& brother) are the 7th generation of winemakers. They proudly supply Waitrose shops since 1994. Since 2002, Pierre (who is also a beekeeper) decided to cultivate ALL their 21 Ha. of AOC vines using NO herbicide, NO insecticide, NOR any chemical fertiliser. Harvested on 3 historical 'Terroirs'– Flint, Kimmeridgean Marls & Limestone - their wines are famous worldwide for their quality, purity, minerality and their aromatic intensity.
